Atletico could not score a goal against Celta
This week, we wrote about Atletico’s problems in defense and attack. Simeone’s team had a midweek match against Juventus at Wanda Metropolitano. They could save the game and one point after scoring the second goal on 90th minute. Simeone was happy after the game, but if we look at the statistics, the coach should be worried about performance.
Atletico had enough days to rest and prepare for the clash against Celta. Fans cheered for goal from the very first minute, but Diego Costa and Joao Felix could not create any serious chance. Atletico could not control the match in the first half as Celta dominated the stadium.
