Tottenham has appointed Fabio Paratici as Managing Director of Football.

Fabio is thrilled with this opportunity

The Italian left Juve in May after 11 years with the Serie A giants and was associated with the Spurs for several weeks before the move was announced on Saturday. He will take over at the Spurs on July 1, while the club will continue to find a manager. The club said in a statement that Fabio Paratici will be responsible for the management and development of the club’s sports operations, facilities and football infrastructure. Fabio Paratici told the club’s website that he is delighted with this fantastic opportunity and thanks the club and the chairman for their confidence in him. Tottenham is one of the top clubs in the UK and Europe with an ambitious long-term plan. Fabio says he is committed to this new endeavor and is looking forward to working with the management team to write a new and hopefully successful chapter in the history of the club.

Fabio Paratici will be a great addition

The former defender and midfielder began his career behind the scenes with Sampdoria. Was charged with scouting by the Italian side and worked closely with Giuseppe Marotta. Fabio Paratici left Sampdoria to join Juve the same year Giuseppe took over as general manager on the Turin side. Juventus won nine Serie A titles in a row while Fabio stayed there until his original was announced last month. Spurs Chairman Daniel Levy praised the director’s work, telling the club’s website that he has known Fabio Paratici for a number of years and brings with him a wealth of experience in scouting, youth and football operations. Fabio has an outstanding track record in collecting competitive rosters. As they all know, according to Daniel, Juve was a very successful club and he was a big part of it. Fabio will be a great addition to the management structure and Daniel is delighted to have him lead the football side of the club as they look forward to next season.
