Three of Harry Kane’s children were taken to hospital as a precaution after being involved in a car crash.

It occurred on the day the striker flew to London for Bayern Munich’s Champions League showdown against Arsenal. The crash happened at around 5.15pm on Monday night in Bavaria, near Munich, just as Kane was touching down on English soil.

According to reports, a 20-year-old Renault driver collided with the back of a black Mercedes Vito van as they attempted to turn onto a slip road on the motorway.

Three of Kane’s four children – Louis, three, Vivienne, five, and Ivy, seven – were inside the black van involved in the pile-up and were sent to the hospital as a result.

Thankfully, none of them sustained any injuries as they went to hospital for a routine check-up. It is believed that Kane’s wife Katie and their youngest child Henry, seven months, were not in the vehicle at the time.

The Mercedes was being driven by a woman, 24, from the area and there were three passengers in the Renault, who were aged three, 43 and 48.

A woman, 62, who was driving a Land Rover, was also involved in the incident. All eight people caught up in the accident were taken to hospital, with some suffering minor injuries.

It was no doubt a scary situation for Kane. A day later he took to the pitch at the Emirates and delivered a stellar performance for the German giants in north London.

As is often the case when he takes on Arsenal, Kane was among the goals once again.

The England captain stepped up from the spot to score Bayern’s second and silence an Emirates that was made up of entirely Gunners fans, due to Bayern’s being banned.

After the game, Kane was the subject of unflattering chants from Arsenal fans still in attendance while he was conducting his post-match media duties pitch-side.

He powered through and said, “It was a tough game. Ofcourse we are never happy when we don’t win.

“You’ve seen it over the past couple of years, Arsenal have had a good go at trying to win the league and they are top of the league for a reason.”
