Dani Ceballos has insisted that Arteta will be one of the best coaches in a few years, as he prepares to negotiate his future at Real Madrid.

What did Ceballos say about Mikel Arteta

Mikel was drafted to replace Unai Emery at Arsenal’s dugout in December 2019 and managed to deliver the FA Cup and FA Cup twice during his first eight months at the helm. Sadly, the Spaniard was unable to build on that platform in 2020-21 when the Gunners slipped out of European competition for the first time in 25 years, but Dani Ceballos still believes he will continue to establish himself as an elite manager. Mikel Arteta served as Guardiola’s Assistant at Man City before taking a key job at Emirates Stadium, and Dani Ceballos says the experience will keep him in good stead while he continues to oversee the long-term project at Arsenal. The Spanish midfielder reiterated that he does not want to extend his stay in north London, however, saying that Mikel Arteta is a trainer who has been with Pep Guardiola for several years. According to Dani, Mikel is a coach who will be one of the best in a few years, but Dani would like to return to La Liga.

A little about Dani Ceballos

The Gunners have confirmed that Dani Ceballos will return to Real when his loan agreement expires at the end of the month, and the 24-year-old is hoping to sit down with new Santiago Bernabeu boss Carlo Ancelotti to discuss his potential role in the team. Dani wants regular playtime guarantees before agreeing to oversee his contract with the Liga giants until 2023, only playing 56 games for the club since his arrival from Real Betis in 2017. Dani racked up 77 appearances throughout the fight for Arsenal during his two seasons at the Emirates. In addition to helping the club win two domestic trophies, he was also able to score twice, laying down another five goals for his teammates.
