Barcelona’s youngster, Ansu Fati had a debut at the Champions League. This youngster is ready to dominate all competitions. Ansu scored a goal.
Match preparations
As you may know, Barcelona lost the match against Getafe. On saturday, Barcelona played an away match in Madrid. Getafe is a Madrid based team and hosted Barca with Lionel Messi. Unfortunately, Barca could not get any points from Madrid – Getafe took it all. With Lionel Messi and other stars, Barcelona could only shoot once on target. Converting off-goal shots into the goal was a real problem for Koeman’s team. After the loss, Koeman said that the team lacked focus and consistency. Barcelona started preparations for Ferencvaros.
1st half of the match
Roland Koeman started the match with a perfect line-up. Although Barca has to face Real Madrid on Saturday, they played with a perfect line-up. The player that was absent from the starting team was French Griezmann. French attacker was on the bench. Experts believe that Dutch coach is fed up with Antoine as he is not productive.
Ansu Fati played as the main striker while Lionel Messi was helping him from the deep. Along with Messi, Coutinho and Trincao were attacking the net of Ferencvaros.
Lionel Messi opened the scoring in the 27th minute. Barca took the advantage and converted the penalty into the goal. In just a few minutes after the goal, Ansu Fati made history. Spanish attacker scored his first goal in the Champions League. Youngster was very happy with the goal and celebrated it with Lionel Messi.
2nd half of the match
Barca attacked more in the second half. After the start of the second half, Fati registered his first assist in the Champions League. He assisted to Brazilian midfielder. Coutinho increased the lead to three goals. After the goal, Barcelona had many substitutions. French Dembele, Pedri and Firpo entered the stadium and were aggressive in the attacking phrase. Soon Barcelona scored their fourth goal thanks to Sergi Roberto. By the end of the match, Dembele scored the fifth goal and registered the final result. Barcelona won 5-1 against Ferencvaros.
