An uneventful encounter at Tottenham Stadium almost boiled over when Hugo Lloris reacted angrily towards Son unhappy that the forward did not trackback to help prevent a chance for Toffees forward Richarlison.

The France World Cup winner ran over the South Korea international back before the players went down the tunnel. The pair was separated by their team-mates who embraced a full-time after a 1-0 Premier League win over Everton.

“It just belongs to the changing room. Outside you can say whatever you want. What happened between me and Sonny is part of football sometimes”. Captain Lloris said.

“At the end of the game, you could see we were more than happy”.

The winning result however gave Mourinho his 200th victory in the Premier League as it extended him to be the fifth manager to reach the landmark.

Mourinho, moreover, questioned his player’s mentality when he said, “The argument was probably as a consequence of our meetings. If you want to blame someone for that it’s me”.

“I was critical of my boys. They were not critical enough with themselves. I asked them to be more demanding of each other”.

“Son is an amazing kid. Everybody likes Son. But the captain told him you have to do more and give more to the team”.

“It is something needed for the team to grow up. To grow you need big personalities. When you have that reaction, I have no doubts”. Concluded the 57-year-old Mourinho.
