Moise Kean has landed himself into problems after posting a video of himself and his friends in a house party while the country is on lockdown.

The video was posted on a private Snapchat group and got his club Everton really angry after the images emerged.

The club has strongly expressed its disappointment to the player in a statement.  It read, “Everton Football Club was appalled to learn of an incident in which a first-team player ignored government guidance and club policy in relation to the coronavirus crisis.”

“The club has strongly expressed its disappointment to the player and made it clear that such actions are completely unacceptable.”

“Everton has regularly stressed the importance of following all the government guidelines. This includes rules and advice for inside and outside of the home. This has been done through a series of official communications to all staff members, including the player.”

“The amazing people in the NHS deserve the utmost respect for their hard work and sacrifice. The best way to show them respect is by doing everything we can to protect them.”

Kean has had a disappointing first season at Everton. The 20-year-old had a £25.1m summer move from Juventus having scored only one Premier League goal.

The striker was dropped from the squad for a game at Southampton in November by then manager Marco Silva. This came as a disciplinary measure after arriving late for a team meeting for the second time.

Kean is the latest Premier League player to breach the lockdown rules. The youngster could be fined by the club who have made it clear they will be taking further action against the 20-year-old.
